upcoming: Prospect 3 projects

One of my students, Alivia, is collaborating on two projects with me for Prospect 3 in New Orleans.  We are creating pieces about her paper birds to be turned into public installations.  Here's some sketches in the works, stay tuned for more in the coming weeks!

painting a skatedeck for a show in new york where the decks will be auctioned off to help raise money for a program call Skateistan (super awesome). should be finished soon! also- working on a pretty big paper cut out, still have alot to do on it.

back patch sketch!

me and ben have been working on sketches for back patch screen prints!
his looks way metal! they were both supposed to be wandering visigoth patches (our bike touring gang) but mine sort of went off in it's own direction... it has me thinking rainer maria lyrics: for each inch cut the roots grow ten. still working on the drawing and inking, but man im so excited about it!
